Super Bowl LIX Commercials

Unread post by moldyoldie »

My favorite is the Lay's Potato Chips spot with the little girl growing a potato plant from a spud that dropped off the truck.

The Duracell spot with Tom Brady losing juice from dead batteries threw me for an amusing loop.

That Jeep spot with Harrison "Ford" -- very clever!

Seal as a seal weirded me out as nothing else could. Besides, it spoiled a fine song.

The Mountain Dew ad with Seal was weird but clever. I also liked the Little Ceasars ad with Eugene Levy's eyebrows going all over the place, as well as the Hellman's ad with the remake of the famous diner scene from When Harry Met Sally.

That one was pretty good, I admit. :lol

I liked the one where the commercial started singing 'Take me Home, Country Roads', and then cut back to the game where a lot of the spectators were singing it. I can't even remember what they were trying to sell, but the timing of the cut was excellent. The ad was memorable for the way they did it, not for what they were trying to sell.
