Re: WSPD Fred
Did he announce his retirement? If so, what will iHeart do now? 4 hours of Gordon Deal? Fred had a lot of local leaders and event coordinators on his show. While I don't share Fred's political views, the fact that he had so many local people on his show, made it worth an occasional listen. If he does retire, that would make a classic full-service radio station into nothing more than a stub, full of out of market programming. What a shame!

Re: WSPD Fred
Fred has NOT announced retirement. In fact, I actually asked him about it a few weeks ago. He responded that he has no intention of stopping, as he enjoys his work too much. May Jedsballs is wishing he would retire?

Re: WSPD Fred
Heard his voice on a morning show promo a few weeks ago, so unless something's recently changed, he's still there.
Re: WSPD Fred
Congratulation to 45 years in Toledo. When you are done please turn the lights off in the building truly the last man standing.
