There's a possibility that Jim Bentley joins Carr as co-host.

Did some googling.
Other than the Drew Basement Podcast, where else has Bentley worked?

Does Cheap Channel have the willingness to finally bring in a live and local morning show and hire JJ as their new morning show host on WLLZ? ...

I'm just conjecturing here.
But I think Mr. Johnson has decided to retire.

If he still wanted to work in radio, I'm thinking he would of just stayed put.
Not pull up stakes at 'OMC and then turn around and get behind a microphone elsewhere.

Is this an actual retirement for JJ or is this Exitcom telling JJ to retire. "You make too much money, we're looking to cut budget, please retire." All too often in corporate radio and media we see people forced out due to budgetary reasons from management, not on their own volition. Did JJ actually get the chance to go out on his own or is Exitcom telling him to leave?

Lets just say that its mutually beneficial. Like with Stoney over at 97.1, the retirements will certainly free up some cash.
I'm sure Costa doesnt make nearly what Stoney pulled down and I'm pretty sure Carr is willing to work for a sandwich at this point.

I don’t expect him to last past Christmas. However, loving the WOMC mix during afternoon drive.

WRIF just gets annoying between their jocks and the same 25 butt rock songs. It feels like WOMC opened up their playlist.

It is mostly '80s music now with the same top 50 all time '80s songs. My dentist plays it.
