I live in Wayne… to my north there is almost constant lighting and thunder right now. I can hear the Westland sirens in the distance.

62 missing in action again for western Wayne County tornado warning. Graphic only. No cut-ins.
Someone there needs to be fired first thing tomorrow. Their news operation is a disgrace. Completely useless for breaking news.

We got fucking RAILED. Somehow that fucker either turned and missed us or just died out. We stayed downstairs just to be safe. Had a 15 second power outage and that's been it thus far. I really hope you guys are being careful. This is no joke.

Re: Channel 4 wins yet again
That Newport / Estral Beach area is a tornado magnet!
If a touchdown occurs, I believe that will be tornado #2 this year and tornado #4 since 2012.
Definitely a troublesome signature near Brownstown and Trenton earlier.
The rain has tapered greatly here but the thunder is obnoxiously loud at the moment.

Re: Channel 4 wins yet again
If an EF-4 were to roll thru Metro Detroit, would CBS 62 still stick with normal programming, I wonder?

It might take their weather mobile up a tree to wake them up…MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Thu Aug 24, 2023 10:58 pmIf an EF-4 were to roll thru Metro Detroit, would CBS 62 still stick with normal programming, I wonder?
