2024 Presidential Primary Polling Thread
2024 Presidential Primary Polling Thread
Now that Trump has declared and there’s nothing else to poll we should be getting frequent snapshots of the race between Trump and DeSantis. To be included a candidate must poll at least 5%. Im using the RCP list as usual.
The first post midterm poll came out today:
Politico / Morning Consult
Trump 47
DeSantis 33
Pence 5

I know it's early. Very early.
Very, very, VERY early, but...
I'm of the assumption that there will be more candidates than DeSantis, Pence and the Professional Victim will be running for the GOP?

Ted Cruz 2
Marco Rubio 1
Liz Cheney 1
Nikki Haley 1
Rick Scott 0
Mike Pompeo 0
Chris Christie 0
I used 5% as a minimum threshold because that’s usually how debates are set.

We have our own demons to exercise on this side before I start dealing with this one. I don't know if I can bring myself to vote for an 81 year old man who doesn't know where he is half the time. But "Breaking 2: Electric Boogaloo" is sure entertaining in the meantime.

Oh I hear ya… but a dead cat would get my vote before a Republican. So I may not bring myself to vote FOR Biden but I can bring myself and 33 of my closest friends to vote AGAINST any Republican.Mega Hertz wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 6:04 pmWe have our own demons to exercise on this side before I start dealing with this one. I will post polls for the Democrats as they appear.

I think its cute that he kept that napkin in his suit pocket in case he met Gorby so he could wipe the grape jam off his forehead.

Mitt wouldn’t have a chance. Pence has a much better shot now being that he refused to testify about January 6th.
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

Glad to see you admit that you're a partisan hack.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Deja vu
Could be a most interesting couple of years...The National Review, a rightist rag, wrote:This is beginning to look a lot like 2016. Let’s just be honest here for a minute: Very few of these would-be Republican presidential hopefuls have a serious shot at unseating the one man who’s actually formally announced — a man who also happens to be the only one who’s already been president, and still enjoys the loyalty of a not-insignificant portion of the Republican primary electorate. The majority of the Republican primary vote might be persuaded to back someone other than Donald Trump — that’s the bet that the most viable alternative, Ron DeSantis, is likely banking on — but if said majority is split three or four ways, Trump’s practically a shoo-in
