What is quite maddening is when someone says something to the tune of " I don't have a problem with gays, just as long as they are not hurting kids" . This is on the level with saying " I have a black friend" or " we got black neighbours, but they don't cause problems".

The GOP knows they cannot have victory without the bigots, so... they have to kiss the ring of these fascist preachers.
