Geez, I felt like I only scratched the surface on the hits, then I saw there was already over 900 songs. I had to call it quits.
But here is what it is

I couldn't stop. It now has like 1,200 songs.
Cause why not?

Is "I Can't Stand The Rain" by Eruption feat. Precious Wilson on your list?

Of course. That was a big hit.
And speaking of this,
I was complaining to Precious Wilson recently about the Eruption albums not getting any remasters, and she informed me that their Leave a Light album is being re-released on vinyl and CD this August, and possibly digitally too

Okay, How about "Cuba" by The Gibson Brothers from 1979. I didn't see it. By the way Precious Wilson definitely was hot in 1979.

I did not put Cuba, but I'll add it now.
And for some reason that reminded me of Copacabana, which I apparently forgot to add, but I definitely remembered it on my 60s and 70s oldies playlist.

I literally could start a Doug FM station here with the variety of music I have. In front of me on my desk is Neil Young and Arcade Fire. To my right is Paramore and Owl City. To my left is BranVan3000, Linkin Park, and Pantera.
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

Here’s a few more, 2 songs from The Style Council “You’re The Best Thing” and “My Ever Changing Moods” and from Double “Captain Of Her Heart” and from Romeo Void “Never Say Never” and one more, from A Flock of Seagulls “Who’s That Girl”.

I've never heard any of these songs. I'll give them a listen in a bit.
Interesting though, I thought Flock of Seagulls were a one hit wonder.
They always show up on 80s one hit wonders lists
Music is my life.

I remember the Eurythmics doing Who's that Girl, never heard it by Flock of Seagulls.
You're never too old to learn something stupid.

Also Madonna 1987 song "Who's That Girl". Singer Ann Peebles did the 1973 original "I Can't Stand The Rain". Also the late lead singer of Little Feat, Lowell George (from 1979 "Thanks I'll Eat It Here") also did "I Can't Stand The Rain".
