Looks like someone is triggered lol!Luke wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 8:07 pmYou blab like Trump. All of your posts basically say “this is going to be H***! Other stations are nervous. More hiring announcements coming soon! They’re about to change theCircleWXYZ wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 3:18 pmFurthermore, I wouldn’t underestimate the impact all of this will have. CBS62 getting a full news department in the manner that it is will change the ball game. CBS is not playing around with this. There’s a reason why other stations imo, are getting nervous. But that’s just my opinion, that’s all
If you actually do know something, care to provide some actual substance?

Off topic:
I think many liberals are triggered, because sleepy Joe Biden is proven to be a disaster and Donald Trump was right. That, along with the Row vs Wade verdict, is why they are losing their minds. Oh well!!

Your grammar is even worse than that of the former President; nicely done.
As for the upcoming news product on WWJ-TV being a "game changer," I'll judge that once the product is on the air. History in other markets indicates TV news upstarts generally have a long, slow, difficult road to becoming any sort of ratings contender.

Like I said, triggered,
As for CBS News Detroit, they are making some promising moves. Already love what Paul is doing. In the meantime, I’m going to sit back, wait for the debut, and watch CBS62 prove all the doubters wrong!
Good morning, btw!!

I am pro-life, by the way, and agree with the overturning of Roe (not "Row") v. Wade.

What makes you think that other stations are getting nervous?CircleWXYZ wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 3:18 pmFurthermore, I wouldn’t underestimate the impact all of this will have. Ratings will be poor to start. The real question is how long will CBS bleed money before they pull the plug?

Trump was right about what? That you can find 76 million people dumb enough to give the Bennie Hinn of politics both your hard earned money and a vote, even after he's conned and grifted so many already?CircleWXYZ wrote: ↑Tue Jul 26, 2022 6:39 amOff topic:

CBS isn't naive. They know it takes several years (usually) for an upstart news operation to have any reasonable shot at being competitive.
There are exceptions, of course. CBS4 (now owned by Nexstar but previously owned by Tribune) in Indianapolis fared reasonably well right out of the gate. That's partially due to the fact Fox 59, a sister station, already had an established news operation with good ratings.

CBS is essentially starting from scratch, except maybe some resources from WWJ. They destroyed WKBD's newscasts years ago when they decided to make a half ass attempt at an 11pm clone. 50 was then produced by 7, then done away with.

WWJ 950 is no longer owned by CBS.
