Re: Favorite DJ'S
Did anyone mention "The Frantic One", Ernie Durham, from WBBC and WJLB, frantically commuting back and forth, before I-75, between the two? He could rhyme just about anything in a very entertaining manner. In the late 1950s, Booth offered him a big salary to commute daily to both stations, an offer he apparently couldn't refuse, which also preempted him from owning 25% of WAMM, which he had to divest before they signed on the air. Later in his career, he was at stations as diverse as WJR and WDET. I called him at WDET on a Saturday Night, about a month before he died, on the then October return from EDT to EST, suggesting that he play "If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time" by Tyrone Davis. He liked the idea, but didn't have it available to play at WDET.
Reviewing these lists, it's amazing how many those listed have literally worked everywhere from Toledo to Cheboygan and Petoskey, and all points in between, if you can keep track of all the call letter changes and on air names.
People are really enjoying Jim Harper now on WLXT Light 96.3 Petoskey on Saturdays.

Bob Burchett also worked at WFDF, before he went to WTRX.

Because there was substantial service overlap between WFDF The Giant 91, and WCAR The Giant 1130, Bob Burchett was known as Robert R. Morgan (not Robert W. Morgan) on WCAR, in the early 1970s. By 1975, Bob Burchett was at both WTRX and WDEE daily. He had a third voice tracked airshift overnights on WTRX.
Bill Gibson/William Gildenstern worked at WRIF, WTAC, WWCK, WCBY, and WCBY-FM, traveling North. His airshift on WRIF followed Arthur Penhallow.
The following programming guide is from 1973. The WNRZ programming description is pretty funny. WNRZ became WIQB about a year and a half after the article below.

Rhonda Hart at WJML in 1980. Surveys are the best source of DJ schedules, more accurate than 440 Satisfaction. Watch out for name duplications though. Kelly is a very common stage surname.

Phat Matt and Gynyp are the two that I enjoyed.
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

Demos died? Holy crap.lidoshuffle wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 7:30 pmThree Favorites of mine that are passed on...I'd like to mention...Nick Demos (WRIF), Rhonda Hart..(WRIF, and seriously, I actually dated her for like, oh maybe a month before she realized I was small time compared to "names" she could date...lol, still fond memories of her), and a real sweetheart, Sabrina Black (Steve Black's wife, she passed 2006, WDFN and WRIF), I was lucky to have known these three personally, RIP to all of them...

I am biased, having worked with some great jocks, but a couple of my favorites were Ken Calvert, Steve Kostan and Dave Doran. Great people and always made working together fun. Never a dull moment.

I enjoyed Phat Matt and Holly during their 89X days.
I know he’s voice tracked from Dallas, but Ian Camfield on 98.7 is a rather entertaining jock on an otherwise boring station.
