Former CDC director wrote: A new CDC analysis found that severe illness and death from Covid were extremely rare in vaccinated people. Among 1,228,664 fully vaccinated people across the US, 185 (0.015%) had severe illness and 36 (0.0033%) died. Covid vaccines are extremely safe and remarkably effective.

"You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations," and "If you’re vaccinated, you’re not going to be hospitalized, you’re not going to be in the ICU unit, and you’re not going to die."

And look! Nobody who is vaccinated has gotten Covid!
They started using it back in the stone ages, but in the Industrial Age it was found to be a great insulator. Also made great brake pads. Was probably a good hundred years before we really found out it had some pretty adverse affects. I wonder how many lives asbestos saved due to its incredible flammability resistance or other great industrial properties? I'd bet many, many more times over the years than ANYONE having an adverse affect from using it!!

They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

I could quote all the stupid fucking things TFG said about Covid, all of which only caused more problems. Yes, the President may have misspoken. But it's a fact - VACCINATIONS ARE SAVING LIVES - even TFG got one. Get one, please.Reagan4prez wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 10:35 amThey sure do!FakeAndyStuart wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 2:39 pmFormer CDC director wrote: A new CDC analysis found that severe illness and death from Covid were extremely rare in vaccinated people. Re: Vax works
That was critical mistake by Biden on two fronts. He should have encouraged you to keep wearing a mask, and not promised this would be over if you were vaccinated because they are leaky vaccines, only to reverse course and look silly.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!
Re: Vax works
Heard there was a push to get folks to "upgrade" their masks to N95 or KN95. In 2020, we were told that N95's were "useless" and there was a push to prevent the importation of them because they "wouldn't provide the protection needed". After the acquiescence to using any kind of mask, even one made out of any cloth, they backed down on that and then were saying a KN95 was better than anything but an N95 (or N100, but just about nobody uses those).
Then, just the other day, I saw Rochelle Walensky who is saying "don't wear an N95 because it's hard to breathe with" and that N95s should be saved for healthcare workers. I even heard one healthcare "professional" say that if we all used N95s the pandemic would be "over in four weeks". Reminded me of the "two weeks to stop the spread"!!
