Here is what Ron always gets in his stocking from Santa Claus, to help him move forward with his many business enterprises.

Wouldn’t the Grinch be more appropriate?

Re: Ron Cameron
It's gotta be killing Ron that he can't be on the air (maybe next week, too??) to offer "the fans" his oh-so heartfelt holiday greetings.
And not even a nod on his Twitter page:

Any thoughts on who is responsible for maintaining this page? Alex? Ted Kulfan? Martin? Ron's hostage maid?

Re: Ron Cameron
Was kind of thinking the same for next week, I think with three hours if he can’t find a guest and don’t think he could find one for New Year’s holiday, it would be a struggle for three hoursMomo wrote: ↑Sat Dec 25, 2021 10:04 am It's gotta be killing Ron that he can't be on the air (maybe next week, too??) to offer "the fans" his oh-so heartfelt holiday greetings.

Can’t we get a best of show though for tomorrow night
And yes I do wonder who keeps the social media page going. The writings seem like Martin from wpon. But since he has moved stations, probably not happening

Re: Ron Cameron
The "Grinch" would be the knucklehead(s) at WDTK who put up the wrong podcasts for December 19th!
Re: Ron Cameron
I listened to this old broadcast the other day (Cameron interviewing Budd Lynch on WXYZ in 1978);radiofan1974 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 25, 2021 11:45 am Can’t we get a best of show though for tomorrow nightThe past interviews with Ray Scott, some playback from Mark Wilson. My Sunday night will feel out of whack, especially if if there is no show next weekend.

It's probably Ron's show at its best, with a good guest, intelligent callers, good production values, and Ron patiently listening to the guest.
Re: Ron Cameron
Idk. I'll refer to my post last December when this tape (& another one from that era) was first brought to our attention:
"Not to be churlish, but I don't know if these old shows reveal any loss of talent over the years. In both, Ron didn't have to do anything much beyond taking calls for his guest. He had the good sense then, at least, to let Budd Lynch do the talking. I'd like to hear a show from back in the day when he didn't have a guest, maybe took less calls, & had to carry the show mostly on his own (as he does now)."
Will there be a "best of" Ron tonight?

No glasses! Again! Reading ad copy should be fun.
And Ray Scott, who Ron promised would be back before the playoffs, is (finally) back next week. Before the playoffs.
