As a practical matter, since I don't know how retailers could possibly distinguish vaccinated from non-vaccinated people, the mask mandate is basically done.

As a practical matter, since I don't know how retailers could possibly distinguish vaccinated from non-vaccinated people, the mask mandate is basically done.

Most stores seem to still be requiring them anyway which is fully within their rights. You still must comply with their rules or risk being forcibly removed if needed.

I'm basically just going with the flow. I've had both shots since the beginning of March. Yesterday and today, I kept a mask in my pocket. No one at the Speedway or the DQ had one on. So I didn't either. At the Kroger and going to and from my table at the restaurant, others were wearing a mask so I did too. Out of these 4 places, only the Kroger still had a sign on the door.

Now it’s peoples choice… guess what? They are choosing to do their part and wear a mask anyways. Over time it’ll lessen. Patience isn’t your strong suit.

There is a large increase of "cases" of politician and media induced mental illness in regard to covid.

That was quick. I thought MAYBE they would hold out until the middle of the week.

Note one caveat.. businesses CAN and WILL REQUIRE masks in their establishments. Kroger and Meijer will… don’t ditch those masks just yet if you’re vaccinated.

Won't last long. Money is king, and as soon as they start losing customers, those policies will change in a hurry.
