American Marxism
American Marxism
Very interesting to see that American Marxism, written by Mark Levim, a book not due out until sometime in July, is number one on the Amazon best seller list.
It would appear that there are a lot of folks unhappy with the current direction of our country and are in search of a solution.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

I don't shop Amazon. Wouldn't know how. I don't have a ap.
All book stores in Ontario are locked down. Our extreme right, pro-capitalist, anti-working class government doesn't want us reading about Marxism.

I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

You don't need an "app" to shop via Amazon.
The reason your government doesn't want you to learn about Marxism is because the subjects might find out how close they are there to communism.

Our Liberal Prime Minister is so far right, he makes even Bernie Sanders look progressive.

I hear the books with big pictures and short words do well with the progressive crowd.Rate This wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 3:30 pmConservatism has books and radio and the internet cornered... who knew?Bryce wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 11:36 amVery interesting to see that American Marxism, written by Mark Levim, a book not due out until sometime in July, is number one on the Amazon best seller list.

Oprah will be surprised to find out she's a conservative. A book she is touting is at number two.

Re: American Marxism
People are fed lies about Marxism.
Only the ‘in’ crowd Benefits while the common class can dream about being ‘in’ that crowd.
America got a taste of this with the lockdowns. Picking and choosing what can be open Based on the ‘in’ crowd. No even playing field. Small businesses got kicked out while big box stores allowed to be open.
Not sure why people would want to live like that as that’s the reason why many immigrants left their homes in the past to make a new living in America.

Re: American Marxism
The folks with more power and money getting preferential treatment sounds like good old fashioned American capitalism to me. Our system is constructed so that an entity whether alive or an organization gets better treatment the better off it is to begin with. Ford or Walmart will do better than a guy building cars in his backyard or selling his wares out of a 1500 square foot storefront downtown and they’ll get treated better too. Why? Their economic impact is higher and they have more money to line peoples pockets with.SoutheastMIViewer wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 5:05 pmPeople are fed lies about Marxism.

None of that is remotely socialism, communism or Marxism.
Re: American Marxism
This is really strange. I'm working turned about the stresses on the current supply chain in our country because capitalism seems to be working so well, my clients are having problems getting things like lumber and appliances.
Why should you care about Marxism when there are serious threats that face democracy like a pandemic and the breakdown of our global distribution system.

You’re confusing Marxism with capitalism as The folks with more power decide who gets to make it and not the Individual self who puts in the effort.Rate This wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 5:24 pmThe folks with more power and money getting preferential treatment sounds like good old fashioned American capitalism to me. Capitalism gives an even playing field. Anyone can be at the top and it has shown. Look at the my pillow guy as an example.
Tesla seems to be doing a great job at building cars to compete with Ford as Tesla don’t even make a profit.
So your example of a guy building a car out of a backyard is possible under capitalism as that allows individuals like me and you to invest in that company thru stocks or other methods to raise capital(go fund me)in making that a reality.
Like I said, people wouldn’t up and leave their homes to come into America if it was not possible to make it under capitalism.

Which was caused by the totalitarian like shutdowns. And then, enhanced by giving the populace money to stay home even after the vaccine had been rolled out.
I have entry level positions that start at 700.00 per week. Do you think I can fill them when folks are getting 600.00 in Michigan right now to stay home? Nope! Kinda hard to up production, or even maintain, when a lot of people don't have a need to work. Old Karl would have loved it. American Marxism.

Mark Levin is selling books. He’s not interested in truth or policy or improving anything. He’s in it for money and himself. The country could burn down for all he cares.Bryce wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 6:26 pmWhich was caused by the totalitarian like shutdowns.
