I tip my hat! You were correct.
To be clear, I'm not particularly happy about being correct, because after all, not only has Whitmer done literally a decade or more of damage (no exaggeration) to this state with her reckless behavior, but we're still stuck with her for at least another 2 years. What sickens me most about it is how she campaigned as a moderate who could get things done by working with Republicans. Remember those ads? What an absolute lie.

The only justice will be two-fold - a flood of lawsuits filed against her and/or her position, and a big loss at the polls in 2 years.
I think the most amazing thing here is that you think she’ll have a big loss at the polls in 2 years. Republicans are a minority in this state. That means you will need some independents and Democrats on the band wagon. Good luck.
Sometimes you would be better off keeping your mouth shut rather than making stuff up. Looking at the last 8 gubernatorial elections, you have a 5-3 R advantage. Here is how they break down:

Blowouts: 5 - 3 R, 2 D - Engler (1994, 1998), Snyder (2010), Granholm (2006), Whitmer (2018)

Comfortable wins: 2 - 1 R, 1 D - Snyder (2014), Granholm (2002)

Close election: 1 - 1 R, 0 D - Engler (1990)

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

You know who else is blue and like Republican governors? New Hampshire.

If Gretchen Whitmer is rightfully defeated in two years, will she accept defeat, or will the MSP or National Guard have to remove her while kicking and screaming?
Sounds like you got a bad case of GDS.

For the record, the best shot Matt will have for his agenda is Mark Hackel. The DINO refuses to enforce the MDHS pandemic ruling that masks should be worn through October. Your best chance is voting for him in the Democratic Party in 2022. He is already posturing to make a run.

The GOP better field a strong candidate. When was the last time Michigan had a one term governor?

If a majority of Michiganders knowingly and willingly vote for someone with as much reckless disregard for our state's Constitution as Whitmer has, then we will get what we deserve.

I have no hope for a state that would return her to office.

Granholm has been gone a long time...

The only Whitmer Derangement Syndrome is what the tyrant suffers from.

It's justified. Literally everything she had done now for the past 5 and a half months was all unconstitutional. ALL OF IT.

And she wants to continue it for another 25 days...

It should continue until there is a vaccine.

So your position is that the Constitution doesn't apply during a pandemic.

Just curious what other special circumstances you believe call for temporarily suspending the constitution?
