48 of the 220 Weather Radio Canada stations will go off the air. This will effect the major cities, but the stations in low population areas will remain on the air. This is according to The CBC. In actuality they should shut them all down along with NOAA weather radio here in the U.S. half of the stations are off the air anyway.
