Rob Mason - WWJ Weekend Anchor

What happened to Rob Mason who used to anchor Saturdays and Sundays noon to 6 on WWJ? The substitute anchors were saying "in for Rob Mason" but not saying that this weekend.

Actually he was back last Sunday afternoon. All the folks he interacts with (traffic reporter, sports guy and EMU professor that he discusses politics with in a regular spot every Sunday) all welcomed him back after his absence.
