Best Places To Work

Post by sinklair » Tue Sep 01, 2020 9:58 pm

25-66’s corporate overlords like to tell you how great a place Sinclair is to work. In fact, they put out a news release to say they were a finalist in the Baltimore area’s search for the best places to work.

https://www.prnewswire.com/news-release ... 21322.html

However, talk with any of Sinclair’s employees in last place stations in Flint, Grand Rapids, or Traverse City and you might get a different story what it’s like to work as a journalist in a partisan PR machine.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

Thanks Matt. But I’m under contract. And Sinclair doesn’t let you out of their contracts early without paying thousands of dollars in “liquidated damages”.

So I’ll just stay and call it like it is.

Plus I think you’ll find it interesting that no one from 25-66 will jump on here to dispute what I say. Most will agree with the extremely low morale... largely caused by the former GM... and the current ASSistant GM, In Over Her Head News Director, Director of Declining Sales, and HR Director/Party Planner.

The new GM has her work cut out for her. Not sure she’ll be able to improve things unless she completely cleans house.

My exit plan? There isn’t one. I do my job. My coworkers do their jobs.

It’s long overdue for those in charge to start doing their job... or to get steppin’

Are you planning to leave when your contract is up?

Dow is a great place to work. Or did you mean in broadcasting? I don't think that exists.

WWMT is number 1 or 2 in the West Michigan TV market behind Wood TV number 3 is WXMI Fox17 dead last is WZZM. If WZZM is number 3 it's only because of legacy just my opinion.

Anybody related to Bill Harris work there? Any former cops? Bill’s kid will want out soon.
Hell if I know. It's kind of a big company. I'm sure that any relatives of Bill Harris that work there will destroy the company instantly, though! Dow employees will start loving police so much that the entire company will fall apart! Quite a shame, really.
