A complete misuse of Office. Michigan elected a Governor, not a self appointed Draconian Nanny.
it looks like someone doesn't understand how laws work. Fortunately, the courts do. You better get busy collecting signatures.

Whitmer saved my bacon by re-opening my unemployment claim. I would be broke right now otherwise. She's done a remarkable job at cutting deaths month by month if you look at the breakdown. If you are reading this in Michigan, you owe her a thank you.

Go back a read the first post in this thread! A doctor did what the governor banned and it saved his life. Whitmer is not doctor, so she shouldn't have went around bulling doctors who trying to save their patients life's with her EO's threatening to yank their licenses.

Then there was ghastly act of sending Covid-19 patients to nursing homes with uninfected patients!
The MI legislature passed law not to intermix them, but she vetoed this bill last night (7/31).
http://www.legislature.mi.gov/documents ... B-0956.pdf

What Whimer has done here is inhumane, if not bordering on criminal. It is clear she has been trying to create attention for herself, so many of these acts have suspect bonafides, especially considering she has been literally "bought and paid for" by Blue Cross. Her dad was the former CEO, she was bankrolled by the current CEO. Follow the money!

PS Whitmer herself re-opened your claim? Michigan unemployment agency has been an unmitigated disaster. Weeks of getting disconnected. Ever read ANYTHING from them - it looks like it was written by someone in India. Statements in direct conflict with one another. Terrible nonsense.

The bill, which Whitmer vetoed, passed the Senate 24-13 and the House 74-34. In the House, 17 Democrats joined Republicans in support.
If my math is right, we're talking about 48 terrible people. Also, just need 2 Senators to flip and this murderous policy can be overturned.

Rand Paul a COVID-19 survivor, who is a eye doctor and US senator, said lockdowns are a mistake, but if you older and in a nursing home we should do "extraordinary" things to protect you.

Exact opposite of Whitmer did and continues to do.

Whitmer veto's another bill meant to give immunity to essential health care workers working under a state of emergency.

Essential workers have gotten the shaft, again.

I wish that the legislator could override her veto I know no one from the Dems would ever do it although don't know how many the GOP would need from the other side to get it. I know it isn't going to happen wish it would happen thou.

Ugh, everything isn't a fucking game. Hopefully the Supreme Court will knock the tyrant down.

The Appeals court was never going to decide this anyway.

Was this same court that go the stinging rebuke from the Supreme Court on the Owosso Barber?

Cite those cases.
The first was the judge in Detroit, this is the appeal. Too bad.
