The Biden running mate sweepstakes

Looks like Tammy Duckworth is now receiving very serious consideration:

Val Demmings has too much baggage; she won't get the nod:

Paul Woods reminds me a bit of the Swedish Chef from the Muppets when he speaks!

I think Tammy Duckworth is a great call. Very excited to see her on the short list.

Pleeeeeeeeeese no Kamala Harris.

I'd say Michelle Obama but slidin' Biden already committed to picking a woman.

As an industrial mechanic, I find this very clever and amusing.

UP, I'm surprised you didn't suggest that audiophile would like another certain bearing manufacturer better.

Ok, I'm getting a little mean here. But it's the elephant in the room.

Despite how great, marvelous, fantastic and intelligent someone may be, what's the chances America will elect someone in a wheelchair to be one heartbeat away from President?

That may be a cold thing to say. But ponder it for 20 seconds before you reply.

I still stand by what I said in another thread. I believe Biden will step down mid term. His VP pick will be President before 2024.

Mike, I don't think that is mean at all. Very relevant... FDR hid his disabilities as much as possible. But is she only in the chair because of the pregnancy? I thought she had prosthetic legs...

In any case, look at the other side of the coin. Watch the video of our current President giving Vince McMahon a haircut, or doing a cheesy (pun intended) Dominos commercial that makes him look like an idiot, or telling a national TV audience how he likes to fondle women.. and tell me that person would be elected President. We live in the Upside Down, and traditional common knowledge is somewhat useless.

Given her resume and the fact we could elect an unelectable buffoon... she’s a lock.
