CSX back to #1
Re: CSX back to #1
Wow, after CSX, what a tightly-packed race with several 2 and 3-way ties. WWJ still strong while WJR faltered. Beasly should be pretty happy, especially after putting his own money in to keep the company afloat
Re: CSX back to #1
Its all too clear that WLLZ is trying to be WCSX. Their playlist is now HEAVY "Classic Rock" type stuff. If you're looking to hear any 80's or 90's stuff you can forget it unless youre willing to sit through overplayed tracks by Queen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rolling Stones or Pink Floyd.

And Dahmer is still part of it?
Shocking!

I disagree, JLesinski.
Very little has changed with WLLZ's general music formula since the March 2019 launch; I've only noticed minor tweaks. It's the same fiery trainwreck of mostly 80's & 90's songs smashed together that it's always been. On occasion, a late 60's, 70's, or early 00's song will play.
A mostly 1993 to 2005 rock station that plays a little bit of older stuff (10%) and some newer stuff (20%) is what I desperately crave.

WOW, 99.5 WYC . . . errrrrrr 99-5 'YCD really shot back up to the top.
Re: CSX back to #1
“The Breeze” is feeling the pain, 17th place in the market with a 2.9 What happened? WOMC is starting to come back 6th place with a 4.9 from a 4.1 that’s good. WJR had a 3.4, hell even 760 did better than “The Breeze” 98.7 Seriously.

Sounds like you are a fan of SXM’s Turbo like me...MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 10:00 amI disagree, JLesinski.

J.T. promoted Shaffee - another lackey from his WGRD days - to weeknights a number of months ago.

Re: CSX back to #1
What caused the bounce back for 99-5 'YCD? Is this a normal summertime bounce due to people listening to country more in the summer?
Re: CSX back to #1
Granted I dont listen that much (because I cant stand the playlist) but basically EVERY TIME I happen to flip by its an overplayed song Detroiters have heard a million times followed by most likely Metallica.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 10:00 amI disagree, JLesinski.

I agree that a rock station that gave us the best of...say, '85-2005 would be amazing!
