WCXI 1160 Republican Talk Radio

This is actually not bad. I’ve been listening to the “Glenn Beck Show” this morning and enjoy this station very much. Smart move for Sima Birach you’re on the “Right” track my friend.

Did they dump all of their other brokered programming? Or are there just selected time slots with "Right" programming?

I was hearing dead air at 7a this morning.

Beck's show is good; that's a good "get" for 1160. I'm a little surprised no station in Detroit cleared his show previously. (1310 aired it many years ago.)

Won’t know about the weekend programming, but so far it’s talk 24 hours a day since Monday.

Phil Valentine would be good. I wish WJR would dump Guy Gordon for Phil.

I wish Cumulus, if not on WJR, would have most of the WWTN Nashville lineup on WWCK (AM) 1570 and build the CP for the 107.3 translator. The 9-12 CDT host, Michael DelGiorno was born in Flint and lived there until his father, Bob Dell (DelGiorno), left WTAC Big 600 and went to Westinghouse Broadcasting at WOWO Ft. Wayne and WIND Chicago. Part of their demographic may even remember Bob Dell, who hosted Bob Seger and other Michigan and Regional artists at Mt. Holly. Bob retired from WWL New Orleans, after playing a major role in evacuation and rescue during Hurricane Katrina. WWL was often the only communication center available during that crisis.

It sounds like they may have decided to hook up with Fox News Radio at selected times.

You are correct. It’s not all from Fox News, Glenn Beck is from another source and the same with The Buck Sexton Program.

No ethnic programming on the weekend so far. All Republican all the time and so far I’m impressed.

I heard Leo LaPorte's tech call-in show earlier this afternoon.

I tuned in briefly on the 4th, and their network audio was so distorted I tuned out.

Whatever network program has been running in early evening does indeed have horrendous audio.

They really didn't have a lot. Making the jump from Fenton and being dark for a while probably cleared out the coffers. Remember when Sima was in love with The Grease Man? Aired him almost everywhere. I'd bet Hannity can be had. This is a FAR BETTER signal than 1400s.
