I don't know them.

Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

Check the patterns first. I'm not sure cows and buffalo get diaries.
I did market research; they love retro country music. :)

Maybe a format like 99.7 Duke FM, I bet that has more listeners over in TC than North FM ever did.

I've been reading Q100's FB page and Finster's new show is getting mixed reviews. I love it when somebody trashes the show and Finister himself will step up and thank that person for enjoying it. Really? LOL!

I just saw a pickup all pimped out with Finster graphics. Way to relive 1996.

I really can't stand the stations in the northern MI market. I think they are just out of touch with what a lot of people like.

Did they dump 99.3 WQAN? I see no mention of the frequency on their site or Instagram now aside from in the description of their Instagram (which hasn't been updated as it doesn't include 94.5 and 106.3). I can't hear 99.3 here, if and when they are even on the air.

Yes, many months ago. Actually, Roy Henderson "evicted" them from 99.3 (supposedly). WQAN has a long history of extended episodes of operating at reduced power or being off the air entirely.

I don't believe any of Roy's stations are presently on the air. Not really a good move during a license renewal period. I haven't looked to see if there are STA's on file for those various signals. Although I suspect the "I was involved in a legal entanglement with an LMA holder" will be the defense used with the commission to retain the licenses. Shouldn't matter, as it's on the licensee to remain on the air in good standing. Those communities would be better served if the licenses were revoked. I also wonder if the Notice of Violation (for moving the transmitter and antenna without approval) got paid?

If Roy put the money he has spent wrangling with the FCC into keeping his signals running with a pay for play arrangement like Birach has with his stations, the company would be much better off. Two weeks ago, 92.3 had a carrier with no audio running, 99.3 was off.

If the market wasn't so big (and if the Petoskey/Gaylord area were a separate market for ownership caps), 92.3, 99.3, and 101.9 likely would have been split with one going to each of Midwestern, Macdonald-Garber, and Black Diamond.

The only thing that would make sense with the Bear Lake license would be a simulcast of WMOM or another Ludington-area station.

Two questions:
1. Did CMU look at buying 101.9 before they bought 94.3?
2. Did Interlochen consider leasing 101.9 to fill in Classical IPR's holes when 88.7 was off and then at very low power (and then buying 101.9, moving News there, and spinning off 91.5)?
