Under Barack Insane Obama:

H1N1:
April 2009 to April 2010
60,800,000 Americans infected
274,304 Americans hospitalized
12,468 American deaths
Media: “Meh.”

Trump

COVID-19:
761,183 Americans infected
Media: “WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!“
40,403 American deaths
Media: “TRUMP IS RACIST!”
H1N1 looks rather tame next to COVID-19... thanks for inadvertently pointing that out?

40,000 COVID deaths in the United States. Damn you Obama!

Meanwhile Trump is getting smacked down by most of the Governors for a complete failure to deliver promised tests, supplies and just about anything he has said he would deliver.

To be clear, Trump's revolution is on it's deathbed. At least he has his handful of Nazis like Matt and the other Trump patsies here.

I wish I had your faith TC. Trump has that 40+% that literally does not care what a complete failure and fucking idiot he is. Add in the stupid Democrats running a borderline-senile octogenarian and Putin trying to alter the election again, does not give me confidence.

From The Detroit News 12/21/2018

Last year’s flu season was estimated to be the deadliest since the 2009 H1N1 pandemic, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

More than 79,000 deaths were attributed to the flu, 185 of which were children
No hair on fire. No 24/7 news coverage, no states in lock down.

79,000 deaths? Why was that a yawn? Too many people worried about Russian Collusion?
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

And Impeachment - that looks like a joke now. So much time wasted time.

That’s a heavy amount yes... but we factor that into the usual existence we face here on earth. This is in ADDITION to any normal stuff that kills people. Piling 600,000 cases on top of everything else in a month is The problem. Then how many of those end up as hospitalizations or visits? Even if it’s 300,000 or even 200,000 that’s a lot to throw onto the system over and above what we have. Our private system needs to make money and as such it stocks and plans for normal conditions... not once in a century outbreaks...

40,000 deaths in 40 days
79,000 deaths in 365 days

See the difference?

Here's more:
COVID: Zero Vaccine, Limited understanding
2 Million+ cases in 4 months.

Flu: 2 vaccines, several responsive meds for those infected. 2 Million+ cases annually.

Every year in the fall the media has thousands of "Get your flu shot" stories. Maybe Fox doesn't but legimate media has plenty of coverage.

Happy to spell it out to you, even though you probably wouldn't understand it and thus reject it.

Ehhh....

Flu season lasts about 14 weeks, not the whole year.

And...I'm glad you feel all safe a cozy about the flu vaccine. Except, there isn't really one. Unless of course you want to protect from the virus that went around the year before.

Even then, plenty of people get sick from the vaccine itself.

One other thing you may want to think about is the fact that coronavirus deaths are being exaggerated. If someone does from something else, but test positive their number is included.

So what are you saying?

We should ignore this epidemic? It's really nothing? Let's just all get back to normal?

The microbe will infect as many humans as it finds.
And Yahoos under Trump’s pet governors - will drown in
COVID’s tsunami.
The Man-baby Maniac will have sent a “love letter” to another brutal tyrant. This one named - Corona.

Natural Selection punishes the daft.

No, what I'm saying is that we should approach it with a bit of logic and common sense instead of running around with our hair on fire because of a media and political induced frenzy.

Lets look at some numbers. New York City seems to be a bit of a epicenter, their numbers are easy to find, so I'll use them;

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavir ... ographics/

City of New York Total Population: 8.4 million

Coronavirus deaths as of 04/14/2020: 6,839
Deaths aged 65 and older: 4,9046 or 72% of the total coronavirus death count.
Total deaths by ALL AGES WITHOUT UNDERLYING CONDITIONS 137 or 0.00001630952 of the population of the City of New York.

This virus is VERY dangerous to the elderly and people with underlying health issues. The death count caused by this virus on healthy people is statistically nothing. Much, much lower than the chances of dying in a car accident. Instead of putting everyone in lock down, wouldn't it make much more sense to quarantine the demographics that are most in danger of dying and begin letting young, healthy people go back to work and their lives?

Sure doesn't seem New York cares about old people dying anyway. At least not when it comes to health care costs.
“All of these costs keep going up, nobody wants to pay any more money, and at the rate we’re going, health care is going to bankrupt us,” said Bloomberg, who was then New York City’s mayor.

“‘We’ve got to sit here and say which things we’re going to do, and which things we’re not, nobody wants to do that. Y’know, if you show up with prostate cancer, you’re 95 years old, we should say, ‘Go and enjoy. Have a nice [inaudible]. Live a long life. There’s no cure, and we can’t do anything.’ If you’re a young person, we should do something about it,”
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

So, we should open everything back up. Sacrifice the old and the sick for the good of the economy,

Most of them are already retired and are no longer contributing anyway. Parasites, really.

It would represent a much needed culling of the herd.

Long live capitalism.
