It is sometimes difficult for TV people to adjust to the very slow pace at federal/government jobs from the daily frantic pace of working in TV news.

Government has zero incentive. Even the bad ones don’t get fired.

So hubby is staying here, she is leaving a federal job to make less money, on TV in a city almost as bad as Detroit?

My question was gonna be if they were still married or not... but I guess so.... I wonder if nobody here would hire her?

What kind of federal job did she have? Seems kind of odd someone would bail during a pandemic with a higher paying stable job and not only is it lower paying but she has to rent a place of her own which adds another expense. Then the whole long term relationship. Makes me shake my head.
