Tomorrow night at 7, Fox 2, Local 4, Ch 7, Ch 38, CW 50, Ch 56, and CBS 62 will all air a town hall with Governor Whitmer. Let’s see how this plays out.

I'm surprised the out of state stations are taking a backseat to all this, during this time. I guess the Detroit market is all that matters in the State. Perhaps those living outside of the Detroit market will be tossed a scrap or two.

I get the idea that the gov likes to be on TV, looking to move up the Democratic ladder?

Perhaps you should read before you post, if that's not asking too much.

The feed will be offered to every TV station in the state through the MAB and the Michigan Association of Public Broadcasters. Ever heard of them?

I did read the post but one always has to be snarky on the buzz board with their ASSumptions especially if one does not line up lock step with one's political views. It stated that the town hall meeting is to be hosted by Detroit news anchors Carolyn Clifford of Channel 7, Huel Perkins of Channel 2 and Devin Scillian of Channel 4. So nowhere does it say an anchor from out of state will be participating.

How many cooks do we need in the kitchen?

Perhaps some equal representation or throw a bone to one of the stations? But according to Mr. Doucette I did not read the article so and never heard of the other parties involved. I must not know what I speak of since I did not read the post because it's just too much.

Or outside the Detroit market, for that matter.

I will not be watching. Total snooze fest.

It's going to be a rehash of the same info that has permeated the airwaves for days on end.

Whitmer already did a COVID-19 "virtual town hall" at WOOD-TV in GR last Thursday.

Now everyone in the state won't really have much viewing choice. This is the list so far of all the stations outside the Detroit market airing this town hall.

Grand Rapids - Kalamazoo
WWMT 3
WOOD 8
WZZM 13
WXMI 17
WGVU 35

Flint - Saginaw - Bay City
WJRT 12
WNEM 5
WEYI 25
WCMU 14
WDCQ 19
WSMH 66

Marquette
WLUC 6
WJMN 3
WNMU 13

Northern Michigan
WWTV/WWUP 9&10
WPBN/WTOM 7&4
WFQX 32

Lansing - Jackson
WLNS 6
WILX 10
WKAR 23
WSYM 47

Alpena
WBKB 11

I'm gonna guess the big news out of this might be announcing an end to the school year.

Oh yes. Let her complain about the spat with Trump, but deep in her heart she knows it was a real blessing—brought her much national attention and sympathy, and maybe a spot on the presidential ticket.

The only major stations that won't be airing it appear to be WGTU/WGTQ, WLAJ, WOTV, and WBUP

"...because we care about you!”

So gay.
Almost as bad as these endless e-mails from businesses who have me on their mailing list assuring me that they are still in business and they CARE ABOUT ME!

The emails were dumb.
