Does anyone know if the radio network will have the games?

I am not sure. I'd say call your local affiliate and ask. Unless they can dig up some pre-Price broadcasts, I'm not tuning in.TomSanders wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2020 7:48 pmhttps://www.detroitnews.com/story/sport ... 930400001/

I'd rather watch a replay of the fight between Rod and Mario. "Let's Get Ready To Ruuummmble!"

If I suffer from insomnia in the coming week, I now know where to turn!
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

Lots of people care. 97.1's website has a streaming link. During the 1981 baseball strike, WJR re-played 1968 World Series games, NBC Radio coverage w Ernie Harwell and Pee Wee Reese. The Indians' flagship station, call letters WWWE at the time, re-played the 1948 World Series. Indians vs Boston Braves. Both don't seem to me like they happened that long ago, but it was 39 years ago this summer, before many folks in the business and on this forum were born.

You must care at least a little, otherwise you wouldn't have taken the time to comment. Unless you were just being a douche.
Re: Tigers radio replays starting Monday night
Anybody bother to find out what the games were?

They're on the 97.1 web site. Too many to copy and paste. Many are post-season games from 2011-12-13.

Some of you guys must have a lot of time on your hands. No thanks, rather listen to Ernie and Paul - maybe an 84 team that actually won something or some of the Bird's complete game victories. It's all yours...........douche
Re: Tigers radio replays starting Monday night
Why am I a douche? I'd love to hear the same types of games you are describing. But I'm not trolling a thread just to say "who cares," which is kind of a douche bag thing to do, is it not? Let's just agree that it is!Mr.Transistor wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2020 1:45 pmSome of you guys must have a lot of time on your hands. You were the one that initiated the name calling and continue to engage in name calling. That's not a very productive way to get a very positive response, so I question your"trolling" comment. I really don't care nor have the time to kill, to hear games from 8-9 years ago from a teams who were good but definitely were overpaid underachievers . Some of you fellas may enjoy this but I obviously don't care to listen.DAC wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2020 10:06 pmWhy am I a douche? I'd love to hear the same types of games you are describing. That's all well and good. But why did you post "who cares......................................................." if not to be a douche or to just troll? Plus, I never claimed to be looking for a positive response. You were trolling, after all. What response did you expect for being a troll and/or a douche? Hm?Mr.Transistor wrote: ↑Wed Apr 01, 2020 7:57 amYou were the one that initiated the name calling and continue to engage in name calling. Re: Tigers radio replays starting Monday night
Move the games back to WJR and play games called by Ernie and Paul and I'd listen about every night. WJR could pull decent ratings again like they did 30 years ago.
Re: Tigers radio replays starting Monday night
This might be a good time for me to finally listen to those tapes I made of their last weekend together in Baltimore 30 years ago.
