Impeachment comes to a close

Was shocked no one else started a thread on this. Romney voted to convict on one article and against on the second. In the end his vote didn't matter as President Trump was not removed from office. Anyone who thought that would happen was kidding themselves. Nadler is already calling for more investigations and unless the Democrats take the Senate in November, the same damn thing will happen. They tried, they failed it is time to move on and get some real work done.

No way that the Senate will ever get 67 votes to ever impeach a president. I always thought censure was the better option to go with than impeachment will do it all over again if Trump gets 4 more years as President.

Wait until eyes are open and we finally understand that the goal is to practice unconditional love. To become a humble servant. To leave no lauded shrine to self, whatever form we fashioned it to take.

When you give away money - or things money can buy - do so anonymously. Expect no reciprocation. Turn the other cheek so it too may be injured. And realize there is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for a friend.

This is God’s example of what we are to do, learn, and practice. Jesus is His lesson of what all men - and humans - should be.

And of course - forgive those who fall short of the mark. Which is all of us.
