I'm out of town for the weekend and scanned the dial as I headed up north. Two things caught my attention.

1. Nice to have rock on 97.9(GRD), but it tripped me out hearing thug "music" on 101.1 (The Beat).

2. 104.5 WILZ played 3 from Sammy Hagar, one of which was a Montrose tune. If Wheelz in Saginaw can play a track like that and not immediately flip formats for 0.0 ratings, why can't Wheels in Detroit do that?

I want to be in one of these auditorium tests so bad.

Surprised you were in range of WGRD! Some tropo activity, perhaps?

WILZ gets great ratings for a Class A signal (then again, so does 103.9 The Fox in Flint).

Where were you to hear both WGRD and WILZ?

Is THAT where they got the idea for the 486-SX?

Same (x, y, z), different (t)

I'm in Mount Pleasant and took 127 the whole way up. Heard "Creep" by STP and then some tuneless grrrrrr song on GRD.
