Anyone notice signal strength changes lately?

Any chance you think it might reach Brighton with its normal strength and pattern? I have an indoor antenna downstairs I wanna give a try but I'm not sure how much luck I'm gonna have where I live.

Scratch that. Only got 4, 7, a spotty 20, 56 and 62. Not bad for the 1st floor in a house at 96 and 23. Was hoping for more Lansing/Flint stations. Gonna try it on the 2nd floor TV later.

They fell off my scan about 4 months ago with an inside antenna. Used to be decent. Not sure what happened.

Same here, used to be roaring in and then they fell off my DVR records a couple weeks ago. I thought I had antenna problems, so I investigated that and had just enough signal to pull them in last night for hockey. This morning, they were gone again.

Outside I went, fine tuned the antenna a bit more but it was choppy. Then, about an hour before sunset, the signal came up quite a bit but no where near what it used to be.

Re: CBET TV Channel 9--tower work

Post by statmanmi » Mon Dec 16, 2019 7:04 pm

Hi All,

Someone posting over in the Detroit thread of AVSForum provided a link this weekend to the CBC's article regarding their ongoing tower work that would be affecting FM and TV channel 9 signal strength while underway:

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/windsor/ ... -1.5364037

It's further speculated that maybe the work is continuing beyond the originally noted Dec. 7th date.

I'd say don't give up hope that CBC 9 won't ever be back. Although for Mega Hertz in Brighton it might always be a stretch.

Good luck! ~~ Statmanmi

Now I know why 89.9 was weaker than usual in my neck of the woods not long ago.

I have a outdoor antenna pointed directly south in Shelby Twp and I am pulling a strong signal from CBC 9. It is the only Canadian station I can get anymore, I see signal from TVO on 19 but not strong enough to get a good picture.

Thanks for that. Would certainly explain the decent signal for Hockey Night in Canada...
