I’m no Grinch and love Christmas as much as the next person... but 25-66 goes overboard each year with its set decorations. If a nicely decorated tree, a couple strand of lights and a poinsettias will do, WEYI feels the needs to buy out the entire greenhouse.
It’s trade and/or cash from the business providing the greenery.

So that makes it OK to go overboard with the Christmas decorations? I didn’t say the station paid out cash for the display. Of course, WEYI is too cheap to do that. My argument was aesthetics. It is waaay too much.
That’s fine. I was just explaining why it is the way it is. When a company pays to have its stuff featured during an entire newscast of coarse they are going to go overboard.
