Not even so much as a mention from the station that he is no longer there
No on-air emotional sign off.
Joel is still anchoring and reporting. His last day is in early October.

Good reporter. Good luck on whatever he retires to.

Good reporter. Good luck on whatever he retires to.
Unfortunately, he wasn’t any better than anyone else.
Just because he and Harris have been around a long time people grant them sainthood.
This is your opinion, and you’re entitled to it, but it is not factual.
Joel is quite a bit better than many reporters.
Not only that, he’s a wonderful person to be around.
The reason he’s been around a long time is because he’s good.
Jealously is love and hate at the same time. You seem to be suffering.

Speaking of someone who doesn’t know when to stop (I’m referring to you HL101)...
Always loved running into Joel our on stories. A very nice man. A class act.
Mel Serrow, Jim Kirtzner, Larry Elliott, Bill Harris, Joel Feick... all great beat reporters. Now all stations hire are “reporters” who fit under the budget gap.

Odd, you make NO mention of any other hair color. Feeble try at back peddling..... Racist
Not sure who you are calling a racist. I’ve had all races in my bed, sometimes at the same time!

You could call it that. Plenty of ball bearings and shift sticks!

When I think of all things related to hair, only one expert comes to mind. Mark Torregrossa.

Joel may disagree, but I think that’s the effect of working for Sinclair-run 25-66. He may say that he enjoyed working for Chad, Mike and Neille, but as soon as he had the chance to leave when his contract was up, he took it.
I’m not as concerned with a few gray hairs... Joel is clearly happy and we’re a worse off station without his expertise and knowledge.

Nice subtle jab.
