Knife rampage ends with 2 dead

Post by TC Talks » Fri Nov 29, 2019 6:40 pm

In England, they aren't stupid enough to allow AR assault rifles to be sold. As a result, we have dozens killed in monthly shootings, while a rampage with a knife has much less dire (2 people) consequences.

Why do we need these stupid guns?

Because the NRA - a lobby for gun makers/sellers insuring money piles up - blackmails Congress with some of it - to support or defeat lawmaker reelections.

We don’t need guns. The gun lobby needs us - to buy them.

What?

Let’s ban knives!!!

Because we know it’s the weapon, not the individual responsible!!!!

It’s hilarious that you’re celebrating two people dying. You’re a disgusting person.

A knife is a tool. If misused it can be a deadly weapon.

A gun, when used exactly as intended, is a deadly weapon

Ah yes, those poor clay pigeons will never breathe again.

So the intent of the designer makes a gun “bad”? You really want to go with that argument? Because I will, uh, shoot holes right through it. :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin

Anything can be a weapon. Banning things wont help solve whatever problem is causing people to act violently in the first place. Stop looking at the method and focus on the source.
How many anti-gun people drive cars? Terrorists use THOSE as weapons. Y'all on the left LOVE talking about Charlottesville, someone was killed by a car driven by a fringe terrorist ( who does NOT represent Republicans or those on the center-right, btw). And in Nice, France, carnage was caused by a truck driven by a terrorist.
Why arent you talking about banning cars?
Probably because you know you would lose something youve NEVER hurt anyone with and the real cause of violence will remain ignored while the next item sees use as a tool for the deranged.

Mexico has VERY restrictive gun laws.

Here's what happens:

The bad guys have the guns, good citizens don't.

And a VERY important tool to have on hand for its intended use.

City of Chicago has banned any and all gun sales and use? Including gun shows? No more hunting rifles sold there or in use there? No CC or OC? No guns gifted to family or friends?

A gun isn't a tool. It's a weapon. If misused it can become a tool. Like a hammer, a doorstop or a paper weight.

A gun isn't a tool. It's a weapon.
Tool
noun

anything used as a means of accomplishing a task or purpose.
A hammer is a tool I use to do repairs to my home. A gun is a tool I use to protect said home.
