Diversity is all well and good. But what I don't like is affirmative action.

You live in a backwoods town with 97% marginally educated white people. I don't think you really have much to worry about.

What you fail to realize is this is a country full of different places other than where you live. So you not liking things because you don't have to really deal with them where you are is a relatively ignorant perspective.

The reality is affirmative action has been effective is making changes and that bugs many people with bigoted tendencies. They're just surrounded by white people say they don't even understand what racism is.

Selecting people based on skin color, does nothing to dissipate racism, it only keeps it alive another day in another way.
