You don't understand what the work carcinogenic means do you? What you should be outraged about is your ignorance.
It's raining plastic -- that's what a survey of rainfall in Denver and Boulder, Colorado, concluded recently.
The rainfall survey, titled "It is raining plastic," was put together by scientists at the US Department of the Interior and US Geological Survey.

I do agree that there is far too much waste. Too many well off people throw out and replace items that are better than most people ever had. Its good that people mine trash for such items. But its the government that keeps making TVs obsolete, and no one wants to mine trash for them. Almost all end up in landfills with their precious metals intact.

I don't necessarily disagree there is a problem with plastic (I place blame on those who don't dispose of it properly. After all, plastic is an inanimate object). What get's me is how anal or self righteous some people are about it and they let the type of packaging dictate weather or not they buy the said product. I buy the product, not the packaging! I am not willing to pay more to buy said product in no packaging or little packaging. It's kinda scary how many are so OCD about hatred of plastic and recycling.
