Totally disagree. When my wife passed in May, the only media outlet I used was WNEM. I received a call the same day it first aired from an old acquaintance. Several mentions from others during the weeks that followed from my dentist and others. I believe it gets viewed more than you think.
Disagreement is healthy. I welcome it.

But first, my condolences on the passing of your wife.

Second, the most loyal traditional television programming viewers are closer to the end of their lives than the beginning or middle, meaning those featured on the obits are now former viewers, which means there are “even fewer viewers.”
