Re: Best Christmas Songs...
I can never get tired of:
"No Place Like Home for the Holidays," by Perry Como.
"Holly Jolly Christmas," by Burl Ives.
"It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas," by Bing Crosby. Well, anything by Bing, but that song's my favorite.
"Do You Hear What I Hear," by Martina McBride.
"Christmas Waltz," from Frank Sinatra's 1957 Christmas album. The rest of the album is great too.
"Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," by Brenda Lee.
"Christmas Song," by Nat King Cole.
"Silver Bells," by Andy Williams.
"Sleigh Ride," by Arthur Fiedler
"Let It Snow," by Dean Martin.
I should add these are all songs that I've heard on WNIC. My private music collection has many more favorites, particularly Peggy Lee's Christmas Carousel album, which has many songs that WNIC listeners would probably like.

I love that song! such powerful vocals and a great beat!
Elton John - Step Into Christmas is also an excellent song that I love to listen to no matter what date is on the calendar

Kinks "Father Christmas"
Blink 182 "I Won't Be Home For Christmas"
Ramones "Merry Christmas (I Don't Wanna Fight Tonight)"
I love Mellencamp's take on "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus".
Those Bob Rivers tunes are really good, too.

My apologies in advance, but I like the Barking Dogs. That cracks me up every time. Just like the Subaru commercials with the dogs.
I also miss Yorgi Yorgensen's "I Yust Go Nuts at Christmas."

The songs "I'll Be Home For Christmas" & "Let There Be Peace On Earth" were my favorites from my late mom.
