Same here Steve.
I think he was just making an Adele joke or something.

When they start playing commercials, they should play nothing but music between 5:20 and 5:30 p.m. each weekday. WCSX, WNIC, and WOMC all seem to play nothing but commercials at that time.

So you’d rather hear somebody scream at you 9 hours a day? Especially Mark “The Great Screech” Levin and his godawful voice?
Re: 98.7 The Breeze (Soft AC) is here!
LAMO Ugh... I can't take that shit anymore, Levin, is just a mean awful little troll.
I'm loving this station, It's new I know but if they can keep it from being too repetitious they might have something. My only complaint is, ditch The Bonjovi and Seager. Yes, this is the permanent format.

I think this is a good move as mainstream AC has almost evolved into "songs that were big on Top 40 radio a year ago"

I've noticed heavy repetition, too. But this isn't exactly a "deep cut" or "oh wow" format. It's goal is to be audio wallpaper. I'm sure the playlist will be refined as they go along.
Although, I've had a theory that perhaps this is indeed a stunt. I know Entercom has flipped other stations to this format recently, but I can't help but wonder if they're working on getting some WNIC shares while they go Christmas and will indeed be flipping back to a renamed CHR format. It sounds crazy, I know, but something just isn't sitting right with me about all this. It doesn't sound like they've really tweaked the processing yet, and the sweepers sound almost eerily V98.7 Steve Stryker-ish. I just get a strange feeling this isn't said and done. I hope I'm wrong.

I hope you are wrong too.
I could not ask for a better station than the breeze. It's perfect, minus the few select bi-hourly repeat songs.

Re: 98.7 The Breeze (Soft AC) is here!
First of all this is a chic station nothing wrong with that but don’t we have enough of theses in the D ? The second thing is they cover 5 Decades of music and have a playlist of maybe 250 titles that’s a little to rediculuss hell CKWW 580 plays more titles . But in today’s radio programming thought process we are only going to play Safe music which only consist of 250 songs for 50 yrs of music sad but true this why radio needs to go back to mom and pop operations the IHearts,Entercoms Beasley’s,Cumulus and anybody else I didn’t mention need to give radio back to the people.
