Q105 will continue to earn terrible ratings.

Pure Country 89 (CIMX) will continue to lag behind the other Country stations in its listening area.

Someone will apply for a new Sarnia radio station and the CRTC will make a decision one way or the other before the end of the year.

103.9 FM in Woodstock, ON will become a simulcast of AM 980 CFPL which is known as Global News radio. (An Ottawa AM news/talk station has a FM repeater in a town known as Smith Falls.)

1- Q105 realizes they don't need any local staff at all. The "Otto" mated afternoon show salary can be saved for more irresponsible purposes. This also ties into current staff not getting what they are worth and keeping them from voting to go union.

2- Johnny D goes on all Arlington Compound stations with the tacky "Johnny D Radio." This includes 100.7.

3- Gary Hoffar will pass.
*WARNING: I was literally 3 days off on Harvey.

4- Bill Spencer will show up on the radio in Toiletto again.

5- One of the black owned stations will get sold.

6- Gray Media (13abc/NBC 16/WBAY 2/Fox UP) will attempt forced network news services, separate from the Washington Bureau, similar to Newsy on Scripps.

7- Cable continues to decline in subscriptions. Streaming TV/Live TV continues to grow.

8- Nextgen (ATSC 3.0) arrival date will be announced for Toiletto DMA. Only 1 station will broadcast, more than likely it will be WGTE RF 29.

9- WMNT RF 36 gets fined.

10- Dr Gold shows up online in Grand Rapids doing oldies. Not that we all want to hear the "boss jock" style again.

11- Someone's TX goes. Storm, accident or general failure.

Let's see which ones happen.

1. 93.5 adds more 90's.

2. Q1055's ratings will still be bad but they keep the same format.

3 A longtime Toledo TV personality retires.

4. 92.1/1520 return to the air.

5. No big changes with talent at Cumulus. We've had almost the exact same talent for about a year and a half.

Hmmmm. Dianne Larson, Alexis Mean (she forgets her S's sometimes, so do I) or Dan Cummins. Mediocre Tony G probably won't. I also don't see Lee retiring yet either.

Tony is still fairly young, although Robert Shiels decided to leave the business fairly young, so anything can happen.

Considering that WMYD now handles ATSC 3.0 in Detroit, with its transmitter "lighthousing" the main feeds of the big four stations and themselves, would WGTE be allowed to repeat Toledo's commercial outlets on ATSC 3.0, considering that they're on an educational license?

Considering their fortunes, surprised that the FCC hasn't revoked WMNT's license.

Legally, they are allowed in theory, as they are a bonafide nonprofit. This actually means that they can repeat OTA and on the internet without legal issues- once again, in theory. It is always best to make a contract, to protect both parties. This could even prove to be something more to serve the public with.

I would like to see them repeat/transmit/stream commercial info on the internet, like USTV Now or LoCast were. Their failings were charging and being online WITHOUT permission from stations. WGTE would have to geolock for the Toiletto DMA.

Here in Cleveland, “Jeny 107.3” meets its demise. I think they’ll get sold, likely to a Jesuscaster, but I wouldn’t be surprised if RCRG flips format instead. Otherwise, no format changes, just the usual staff shuffling and less local product.

In Toledo, 105.5 gets its 80,000th rebranding and/or musical direction tweak. Ratings will still barely budge.

Add one more:

12- K100 mornings gets chopped for low demo ratings and overall ratings on multiple occasions. Those with access to the internal numbers see what I mean. Cliff and Lyn aren't "cutting the ketchup," much less the mustard. Cumulus replaces them with a sat show.

WTVG news will accidentally return from break early and catch Sashem Brey or Christina Williams cussing out a producer

A major accident on the MLK bridge will be caused by Melissa Andrews' radioactive orange spray tan disorienting drivers.

Hmmm?

90.3 WOTL is sold to EMF, EMF puts Air-1 on the station

1520am remains off the air, current owners end up selling it, likely to a Jesuscaster.

105.5 continues to keep the turd known as Q105

The Zone is eliminated and 94.5 HD-2 is shut down

In Canada, Bell Media will go on a hiring spree. (NOT)

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

That also requires 100.7 to be shut down, unless the sports is on another HD signal.

Either way, HD is dead/passe. It was a waste of airtime and money. Good riddance. Not like the feeds in Toiletto were ever that good or clean. It also eleviates the 15 second audio delay in the rack room and studio.
