Fall 2018 Numeris ratings for Windsor radio

Post by MWmetalhead » Sun Mar 03, 2019 1:54 pm

Nice recovery for 89X. Numbers are now in the same range as they were for the better part of the 00's and early 2010's.

93.9 The River was also unusually strong. In fact, the fall 2018 book for 93.9 FM in Windsor might be their best in the past 20 years. Cannot think of any other time they managed to finish in the upper 5's.

Great numbers as always for CKLW and CBC Radio One. Those two stations collectively control 25% of reported listenership.

AM 580's audience seems to be fading. CBC Radio Two (89.9 MHz) is down, and appears to have lost listeners to 93.9 The river. Ditto for Mix 96.7. Cool and Country 95.9 finished within their normal range.

Numbers can be found on page 28.

Memo to WGRD: You need to sound a LOT more like your phenomenal sister station in Davenport, IA.

C'mon 106.7 WLLZ (aka Fake Wheels).
More like Fake Classic Rock. Certainly not your father's Classic Rock.

It is certainly misleading to call this Classic Rock without some kind of Demographic Modifier.

Wheels (Cars) are always popular. No problem with that.

Talking about "Fake"...........those numbers are fake and dont give the true picture.

I have never believe them since Detroit stations are not included, its really all smoke and mirrors.

I agree Windsor, I can’t believe the CBEW numbers, And Yes Detroit Radio is listened to more in Windsor than the Windsor Stations put together.
