It's interesting the amount of attention that this matter has received. I'm told it is appearing on all sorts of different postings on FakeBook, and as a result I've heard from about 6 friends who brought it to my attention suggesting that I take care of them gratis'. I'm certain, given the attention, someone will. Given the location in Michigan I'd bet our friends in Coldwater step up.

Another religious broadcaster in the region has a rather predatory predisposition to attacking HS/College non-comms for their authorizations. That one doesn't seem to get any sort of media attention.

Sounds like given the shoestring operation, even an antenna change might be out of the question self-financed, but I'll wager there will be a landslide of donations well above and beyond what is necessary to make the change. I'm thinking their troubles with both frequency assignment and also operations / expenses will soon be over.

Plan and simple, it was a dick move. How many cars in that town have that H. S. station on preset? I hope this creates a H*** amount of blow back so that the Kkkristians back down.

89.3, 89.5, 89.7, 89.9, 90.3 and any number of different channels in the commercial part of the FM band should all be options.

As a Class A, 90.3 would be limited by 101.1 WUPY 10.8 MHz IF restriction. If under Class A, 99 watts or an LPFM, would probably work, but it's a unique situation, probably would need a waiver.

This might be helpful, though many would require an Exhibit showing that the F(50,10) 34 dBu contour doesn't reach land in Canada.

98.1 should be available as WHWL's new full power station is replacing a nearby translator on said frequency.

I agree it would be the Christian thing to.set the High School Station up someplace else and throw in a transmitter so they can have a stronger signal
