I saw on Northpine that Kix 104.7 lost its tower and is currently running 184 watts from downtown Escanaba. It's normally a 100kW signal that covers most of the Upper Peninsula and parts of the Lower Peninsula and Wisconsin

Kix 104.7 at low power
Re: Kix 104.7 at low power
You can see the carnage here: http://uppermichiganssource.com/news/lo ... -collapsed
Was up near Rapid River visiting family August 17th-20th and 104.7 was dead air the whole time.
They should get some coverage with a stick on the Harbor Tower--WLUC's W14CE translator was once up there with less than 1kw and we were able to pick up a good signal 8 miles east of Rapid River. Unfortunately, co-channel interference from WIWB frequently rendered it unwatchable.
