DTV America or affiliated companies (H2 Holdings) own active stations in the Detroit and Saginaw regions.

For example, on their WDWO-CD in Detroit, programming includes Azteca, NBC LX (which is unwatchable boring garbage), NTD (mostly world news & documentaries), BeIn Sports (mostly soccer from Latin America), TCT and a home shopping channel.

Their other station in Detroit, WUDL-LD, which is seldom receivable at my house when using a cheap indoor antenna, carries SonLife, two or three different home shopping or infomercial channels, Cheddar, and CBN News.

I am not sure what programming is carried by their station in the Saginaw Bay region; hopefully it's better than the Detroit offerings!

Looking at the terrain in between Long Lake and Strait Rd. and Traverse City, it looks like it could use a couple hundred feet more tower. The current tower is 200 feet. I think there will be terrain shadowing in some areas, on the Western parts of the Traverse City area proper. I think with all the terrain holes like Traverse City, Petoskey, and others, the value might be to do what WBKB 11 has done and put on all major networks that have a problem in those areas. Unlike Carole King's Mr. Green, who's so serene, and has a TV in every room, cable is getting way too expensive to hook up all TVs. It would be nice to have a WBKB option available in those areas.

WFFC-LD in Saginaw isn't any better than WDWO-CD. For Laff and such, WAQP (Christian TCT-owned) is the station to tune to, believe it or not.

I just rescanned on the east side of TC with antenna pointed right at it. Nothing. :(
