Bring back 1067 the Peak!!
Peak Oldies?

I think they are just stunting, but who knows?

I think to stay out of trouble completely they have to put some kind of format on by October 2.

The Peak was awesome until it became a watered down Hot AC circa 2000.

If it doesn't appeal to a 45+audience, it isn't going to work

From All Access
"MacDonald Garber Broadcasting is seeking an experienced on-air talent to launch mornings on our newest radio station, 106.7 WSRT in Petoskey/Traverse City Michigan.

Can you connect with adults? Love to be part of an exciting resort community? Ready to create a social media brand? Experience in mornings is preferred but not required. And if you are a promotions monster, even better!

So if you’re tired of corporate radio and want to work in a beautiful area for a solid, locally owned company, this is your opportunity. Good benefits and salary. Great opportunity to build your long term brand. Resume and audio to garber.pm@gmail.com."

This has been edited BTW. Yesterday when it was posted it said "Can you relate to Adults 25-54? The station's format hasnt been divulged yet"

Let the speculating begin.

I think that pretty much sums it up.

DQOTD: Aside from Brewbakers' ads, are there any 'pukers' left as on-air talent?

If you look at the FCC database there is a construction permit to move WSRT translator in Petoskey to 107.1

Are they by chance playing Christmas music at the moment? I've been in the Muskegon area today and was wondering if WSRT was the station I heard playing "Jingle Bell Rock" on 106.7.

You are correct. WSRT is playing Christmas music. Listening to it currently from northern mason county. Only identifying as 106.7 wsrt gaylord. No mention of the repeater.

That would be the first station in America this year to go all Christmas!

I heard them again just north of Lansing last night. Liner: "Who says Christmas comes but once a year?" As noted earlier, no mention of any translator frequencies.

I heard it last night. Some kind of Classic Rock or Classic Hits. Neither the signal nor the processing and modulation levels seemed quite ready for prime time. I assume that repairs and tweaking processor settings are underway to correct this.
