Baraga selling to Relevant Radio

Post by ftballfan » Fri Oct 04, 2019 8:56 am

Saw this today: https://radioinsight.com/headlines/1808 ... lic-group/

Immaculate Heart Media owns the Relevant Radio chain of Catholic radio stations, which has several stations in Wisconsin:
92.9 WYNW Birnamwood/Wausau
93.9 WMMA Nekoosa/Wisconsin Rapids/Stevens Point
100.1 WSJP Port Washington/Milwaukee
1050 WDVM Eau Claire
1050 WJOK Kaukauna/Green Bay/Appleton
1240 WHFA Poynette/Madison
1570 WKBH Holmen/La Crosse
1640 WSJP Sussex/Milwaukee (the former Radio Disney facility)

I have received all three of their Wisconsin FMs in Manistee (100.1 comes in the most by far; I've heard 92.9 and 93.9 about twice each)

I see the group sold for $345,000.

Will any of this money go back to the listeners who made the necessary donations to build this little empire and keep it on the air?

WJOK is an easy daytime catch in Manistee with a Terk AM Advantage antenna.

According to the Baraga website, they just switched to Relevant Radio on October 15, so they’ve already made the switch.
