Does anyone know of activity of 97.7 WNOM in Ludington? Says it will be classic hits. Co-owned with MOM?

Well, what the heck will happen with Coast on 97.7 in Manistee?! That's awfully short spacing, so clearly something will have to give. I wouldn't be surprised with it being co-owned. WMOM > WNOM, quite similar. I'd hope the outcome is better than 93.1 in Grand Haven. Co-owned with WGHN 92.1 and everyone thought they'd be able to do some truly great things with it, but alas... it's a horrid station with little local programming and tons of automation like it's merely a space-filler. I'm not sure what'll happen with 97.7, but it's an interesting situation indeed.

There was an old docket that had Coast moving to 104.3 and WMOM moving to 96.3 to allow for a new allocation in Evart on 102.7. However, the allocation in Evart was deleted but MOM still has that CP to move to 96.3. I wonder if this new CP will file to move to 96.3 with WMOM staying on 102.7. It would be too close to WMOM to make sense as a simulcast.

Is Coast going to get their system figured out? They continuously go off the air as of late. And that REALLY poses a problem when local sports games aren't being broadcast...

Coast hasn't aired any local sports games this year as far as I know. The Chips are on News 98 and only one Saber game (last night) was broadcast and that one was on News 98.

Wish I had known the Sabers game was broadcast on News 98.

Speaking of the WNOM CP, there is an app that has it moving to 96.3 from the same tower as News 98

Somewhat off-topic, but I don't think Manistee Catholic lasts much longer. I've heard they're under 150 K-12 with this year's senior class being the largest class they have.

If 96.3 is sharing tower space with 98.7, then look forward to lots of dead air and missed legal ID's. This is assuming the programming is originating from the same location.

Looked at http://www.w9wi.com/web/fm-channels/242.html and it says....

Ludington, MI WNOM 3,400 3,400 93 0 43-55-01N 086-26-12W CP MOD FM E:hot adcon

So this has moved from the above 97.7. Too, the format goes from Classic Hits to Hot Ad Con. A 102.7 simulcast for
WMOM and WNOM ?

Just so folks are aware.

That simulcast would make no sense. The 96.3 CP and 102.7 are located less than 10 miles apart. A better simulcast partner for 102.7 would be 100.1 (100.7) Bear Lake (in a fantasy world, WMOM would have bought that a while ago and use it as a simulcast of 102.7 as 102.7 has trouble reaching Manistee at times)

101.5 is back on the air, for now at least. It's simulcasting 97 Coast FM.

First noticed 101.5 on late last week (Thursday?). Looks to be back to full power. I wonder if Coast moves to 101.5 when 106.3 moves to TC (with KLA moving to 98.7 and News 98 moving to 97.7)?
