Erik "O's", bumper to bumper club. Monday through Friday, 2 til 6, on the big 13. 1320, WILS, Lansing.

It's the first thing you heard on your way home from school everyday.

I can remember the Dave Clark Five coming to Lansing and Erik playing the pick of the week "Catch us if You Can."

Thanks Erik. It's been fun.

Goodbye Erik and thank you for all of the great memories when I was growing up.

He made WILS the #1 station in town back in those days as PD. It was great radio for a market the size of Lansing.

I remember him talking about the roads being filled with those 'Whopper Choppers' during rush hour as people headed home listening to his show. That was back when, if you had your car windows open, you could hear the other cars all tuned to WILS too. A big happy family of radio listeners at 1320 WILS.

I miss buggy whips too.
