This is from OurMidland. A benefit dinner in support of longtime Great Lakes Loons’ PA announcer Jerry O’Donnell and his family will be held on Wednesday, March 27 from 6-8 p.m. in Dow Diamond’s enclosed concourse. O’Donnell, who served as the Loons’ PA voice from the time of the team’s inception through the 2022 season, was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic thyroid cancer in March 2023. Jerry had a radio show on Newsradio 1250.

I did not know he was sick. I wish him well, and he was always fun to work with.
