Nowhere to be found

Post by sinklair » Sun Feb 25, 2024 3:42 am

Of course when there is breaking news, Mid-Michigan NOW! is nowhere to be found. An Amber Alert and the passing of a Flint City Councilman will have to wait until Monday, I guess. At least the EP jumped online to update the website. Even former 25-66 anchor Dave “Don’t Call Me A Journalist” Bondy had it on before his former station. But I’m sure never to be seen News Director Karin is really proud!

The best thing they ever did was fire your whiny, pathetic, worthless ass.

Wrong again, Matt. You seem to have rocks for brains if you can’t keep basic facts straight. Contract ended. Left the burning sh*thole that is 25-66 behind.

But alas, that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand. (Which is also your MO… never to talk about the issue… you only make personal attacks on others. That seems to be against the terms of use if someone wanted to ban, what did you say, “your whiny, pathetic, worthless ass.”?)

Of course, on its merits, you don’t dare to defend the indefensible. That a so-called news organization has absolutely no one working over the weekend to keep informing the public of significant breaking news. That an EP has to work off the clock to provide social media updates because she cares more about the News than 25-66’s cheap owners, the absent news director, and the GM who follows corporate mandates without question.

Now, crawl back into your hole, Matt. Since you are incapable of adding anything of substance to any topic you chime in on. Or even better yet, try to educate yourself. Step one: listen to the following audiobook…

Where I live, the stations' MO seems to be to just run the same story as if new for 3-4 days, and let the weather liars ramble on about nothing for 5-10 mins per segment, so that the "filler quota" is met.

But that's on weekdays, when crew is at full strength. Weekends and holidays are met with lowered expectations.

Kager: exactly. That’s why so many people don’t even bother watching local news any more. Stations (and I mean station owners and GMs) don’t give a crap about the journalism being produced. All that matters is whether more news can be put on — on more places — for less money. Or in WEYI’s case, let’s not have any newscasts on weekends. So if something important happens, make your viewers wait until Monday for (maybe) an update. Or force them to go to WNEM or WJRT.

Then again you have corporate apologists like Matt who say there’s nothing wrong here.

Suspected tornado in Grand Blanc last night. Where was WEYI-WSMH? Not a single story online about it. No video, no photos.

ABC12 and WNEM have multiple stories up already.

Instead, 25-66 is posting about getting photos of your “Furry Friends” and National Pancake Day. SMH

Rudderless and heading straight toward the iceberg at full steam… and the GM and absent News Director are absolutely clueless.

Meanwhile, it’s Thursday night and they’re still scrolling the election results from Tuesday night.

Does anyone give a F there what their on air product and newscast look like? What a joke

Did Dave Bondy report on The Grand Blanc tornado unlike 25-66. They didn't have live coverage on 25 or 66 in the late night hours for the server thunderstorms either? Why 25-66 will always be the dog station in Flint no one watches them for news.

That’s all we need is a know-nothing social media influencer wannabe trying to predict weather patterns. Bondy should stick to what he knows best… doing dishes with the kids.

I want to know why "leap" babies is newsworthy?
Woe to you, oh earth and sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty-six
