WLUN 100.9 Changing Formats?

There's some scuttlebutt on Facebook that 100.9 WLUN is being sold and changing format away from sports. This is the radio station owned by the Great Lakes Loons and an affiliate of ESPN. Has anyone else heard this?

Tomorrow (Monday) at 5 PM.

They're stunting with music about foxes. I assume the new moniker will be 100.9 The Fox. Format? Who knows.

My first thought was simply an affiliate change to Fox Sports from ESPN, but stunting with music, especially on an NFL Sunday, wouldn't make sense.

Another affiliate loss for the |-|UGE douche.

100.9 the Fox or Foxy 101 seem like logical choices given the Easter eggs.

I'm hearing what apparently is a new local show (not Tiny) right now on their stream.

It will be Fox Sports Radio, and there is a local show The Payoff 6-7pm. Bill's 3:00 show stays, but Dan Patrick and The Herd get added.

I like the change. ESPN Radio is a shell of its former self. And contrary to popular opinion on here, while I don't listen to him all that often, I'm perfectly fine with them carrying the Big Guy.

I also like that they've picked up Westwood One's NFL live game coverage for primetime games.
