I remember when Jim was a reporter at WEYI in the early 90s. About fifteen years later I was working retail when he came through my register. He was working as a photographer at WNEM at that time, but I recognized him immediately from his on air days. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy and was shocked that I recognized him. RIP to a mid michigan legend.

I believe Jim Wyatt & Doug Moiles are the only two that worked at all three stations. Oddly enough, both passed away while working as assignment editors.

"Jim had a tough job. He was in charge of making sure crews got where they needed to be, managed all the assignments, took phone calls and concealed reports and photojournalists out on the scene."
